dual core is an old trend.... so for office use na na karon....

Games right now are optimized in quad core procs much better pa gyud if more than 4 threads.

-like the core i7 1336 processor. then...

-HD5870 which is the hottest GPU in the market

-x58 chipset mobo,

-corsair H50 cpu cooler

- tri channel 6 Gig ram with the lowest latency

psst.. peace to the thread. i know we are all good techs here and such, lets use this to help the TS heheehe, walay dumot ba friendly war lang, naa ba anah hehehe...

lets just maximize nalang daw budget sa ts which is 20-30k daw, purpose gaming. and let him choose AMD or Intel setup he wants.

and since wala ko update sa prices d lang ko uapil suggest but an I3 or PII X4 is a starting system.then adjust nalang the rest.

just remember socket 1156 is not future-proof too dba.

yes an i3 or PII X4 wud serve the budget well..

anything lower is not worth it.

a gud performance and price tier @6.3K wud be the AMD Athlon II X4 635 - 2.9GHz - 2MB L2 and ntel Core i3 530 - 2.93GHz - 512KB L2 - 4MB L3

its a good buy.... that mobo is already SLI/crossfire? ready plus a good Performance processor

quad is better than dual core, i owned a dual core before and now i have a quad core, dako jud kaayo difference. kung phenom naman lang go for Phenom II X4.
