Personally, I don't see anything wrong with his commercial. Negative ads are sometimes used in campaigning, though it would be much better if it was supported with facts.

Aren't you being a bit lazy? You obviously haven't studied the candidates- Gibo, for example, has never involved himself in 'the mudslinging' (as far as I know).
