i think so too. i'm almost 100% sure that was Walternate. on one of John Noble's interview, he said that Walternate will soon appear and that this character is a total opposite of the present Walter.

mao gyud - i switched to another channel after watching it after the first 5 minutes..... but it was intended to bring more humor for geeks like me but it was too much..... still Walter did a good job though telling a story....
