Love is non judgemental, honest and respectful.
This is the essence of love.
If a person loves you,
he will respect you
and he will always be honest with you
and he will never judge you.
He will respect you
that he would never touch you unless you ask him to.
Some people say they love you but all they have for you is lust.
He will be honest with you.
He is open with himself and his feelings.
HE never hides things from you.
Some people say they love you but they lie to you on a daily basis.
They lie on their whereabouts.
They lie most of the time and never feel guilty about it.
Having another text mates and girlfriends
is a clear indication of a person who is not in love with you.
He will not judge you even if you have your shortcomings.
Despite you being fat and being not so bright, he will still love you as you are.
Forget the love described in the romance novels or telenovelas.
It is not real love. romantic love maybe, but not real.
NO one can really know if the guy is truly in love.
Because love can be faked.
It is time that will tell you if his love is true or not.
Because faked love changes in time.
This is why you need a long courtship period
or long girlfriend-boyfriend stage
to really determine if your partner's love is real or not.
If something bad happens at this stage then that love is questionable.
It is easy for guys to say they love a girl,
but in the real world --they just want to score.
Guys fall in love after a long relationship.
Not before.
This is why they leave their girlfriends.
If for a period of time, even being in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship,
he never falls in love really with that girl
then he will find another girl to fall in love with.
Soul doc,
I've been looking for an advise about my delimma. I know my issue is not unique.. I mean some (if not all) can or has already or is currently under the burden of this common problem.
My partner (not married) and I have been together for over 10 years now. 7 months ago she started cheating and left me for four months, but eventually my partner came back and now we're trying to work our relationship out.
To make the long stroy short.. there's this person who came along, out of nowhere, during the time when i was depressed and all. This person became a good friend (has a current partner as well and of whom is also a good friend) and until now, we still are.
This is where my issue comes in... I am already in love with this person but I know it can never be materialized as I already have my ex back and the person too has a partner. My ex is jealous whenever this person is around. One time my ex asked me about how i feel towards this person, I said the person is just a friend and nothing more than that. We always fight over this person.
Soul doc, please enlighten me. what shall I do. My feelings towards this person is killing me each and every single day. I feel trapped.
please..
Soul Doc
Welcome back...
thanks. i think i used the wrong pronoun. haha
i was supposed to say, "how do i know if i'm really inlove with a person" hehe coz it's easily confused with infatuation, hormones, peer pressure, and even lust. hehe how do u make sure, or what test do u have to do para makaingon ka nga love jud nimo ang person.
coz nowadays it's so easy for anyone to say I love you without them meaning it.![]()
soul doc, naa koy question, you want a serious relationship, but gisugot nimo ang taw dayon kay pareho mo nagkagustoay. is there something wrong with that? is there a "right" and "wrong" time in saying yes to a guy? naa ba jud kailangan nga time frame before sugton ang usa ka guy, esp when you want a serious one?
You have a complicated life.
In this lifetime, you are not supposed to have a "lovelife".
This is why this things happen to you.
You are supposed to learn that lesson for your soul.
Your previous lives has been a series of mistakes.
Until this life you still haven't learned the lesson.
Stop thinking about love.
It is just an abstract commodity used to sell just about everything.
From soap to cosmetics, from magazines to movies.
That's the business of love.
Think of your self and the relationships you are having with every aspects of your life--
and do not just think of romantic relationship.
You only think about love when you are ready to love and marry a person.
But if you are not ready, why think about it?
the universe will assign the right person for you to love and he will love you too.
but he will come at the right time.
At the time when you are both ready.
Just be on the look out as soon as you are ready.
This means being ready financially, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
