Unless you really need the 2 more cores, although i7 has more threads then the X6.

Mixed reviews and results, on some games like Crysis i7 920/930 still faster then this one.

True. Performance is even like a Phenom II 965 with 2 more additional cores. you must be running true multi threaded apps to be able to fully utilize this baby. it's like an Intel E8400 vs an Intel Q6600 tested for gaming. E8400 will beat Q6600.

For games, Most are doing fine using 3 cores. better wait for the Bulldozer and Bobcat next generation CPUs from AMD.
