There are no Hard and Fast Rules what subjects to avoid during drinking session.
One, you can't be so stiff enough to dictate your buddies what to discuss. wala pa ko ka sulay
mag-inom unya someone will say, "mag inom ta bai pero kini ra atoang istoryahan".

Mag inom kay mo relax ug mag lingaw-lingaw. you can practically talk about anything but be quick and
prudent enough to end a topic once ma feel na ninyo if duna na "hurt" or na sagmuyo sa istorya.
be considerate and sensitive enough to say "bai sorry, dili na ta mag hisgot ana kay personal ra na.
Or just plain change topic if the ambiance is getting hotter and hotter.
