question about sony hi-8 handycam

was planning to buy a mini dv handycam, pero gipadalhan man mi ug sony handycam nga hi-8 sa ako uncle sa states,..

well, i know dili jud kayo cya chada ky dili pa digital. murag daan na kaayo ni nga model pero gamay raman pud iya size and i think it can get the job done for videos just for fun. plus it saved us money ky wala man mi nadayon ug palit new camcorder.

the unit has no problem recording but, the problem with the unit is that guba iyaha tape head.. dili cya maka play back sa ako na record.

my question is, ang function ba sa tape head is only for playback? is it correct nga bisan guba ang tape head, nya ga record ko, the footage is safe and intact inside the tape bisan dili nako ma play back?

best way is to try the recorded tape into another hi-8 player kung ok ba i play, basin wala gyud diay na record

bitaw pud sa... good idea. i'll try to do that, thats if makakita pudko ug lain nga hi-8 na mauslan. but i hope na record ra cya coz, if in record mode, mu siga raman ang red dot indicating nga ga record and naa rapud display sa lcd. mawala lang ang display during play back.

eeepp typical mana mo display sa lcd, problema lang kung na write ba gyud sa tape hehe
