But that's just your theory. There's a simpler explanation why these people are jumping ship. 1) They believe they are jumping to the "winning" party. 2) They have no concept of loyalty, principle or perseverance.

No matter how you justify it, any politician jumping ship to another party is a part of the symptom of our disease called Philippine politics. When we accept these people it shows that we value personality over platform and that is why even 100 years from now I am certain the Philippines will still be the basketcase of Asia. I wish I were wrong, but I'm quite sure I'm not.

You're not getting it. It is not about making friends with your enemies, it is about making sure you don't associate with people who can't stick to their principles and loyalties.

Also, your characterization of opposition as "enemies" is exactly the problem with us pinoys and this country. We always make it PERSONAL. Kontra na dayon kung dili magkasinabot. One very important, if not central facet of a healthy democracy is a strong opposition. If like you say "include your enemies" you mean "include the opposition" then there is no opposition. Let's abolish democracy and set up one-party rule. Democracy is an overrated illusion that has turned this country into the joke of Asia anyway...

as i had posted earlier... being the chief economic adviser, he was largely responsible for the economic growth during the 9 years under PGMA that you guys keep harping about even if the issue of corruption ni PGMA is brought up.... (mindset ninyo kay bahala nag corrupt basta naay agi... lol)
