patay? but look at their eyes...they're telling something! haka sd ana. unsa kha kung mkakita tas personal ana sa...
what makes it more interesting for me was the portrayal of the living ones. stoic kau.

Some photos here, the deceased are more than one. Like the father & child tandem and the old man with the dogs.
The eyes were glued open for the sake of the project. Some have painted-on pupils (they probably can't seem to open the eyelids due to the onset rigor mortis). And if you look closely at those solo photos of people standing up, you would notice the partially hidden wooden stand/brace that holds the body upright (which i assume they took the photo while the body was still in full rigor).
thanks for the info but id rather not look closely or il definitely have nightmares tonight.lol
i wonder if there are still people nowadays who takes this kind of pictures... most if not all pictures of dead people that ive seen are those in the coffin. people at wakes takes pictures of the dead but they don't do it like this. this is just morbid and scary...and since the pictures are yellowing and old... you cant help but get goosebumps. hahaha
and btw, memento mori is latin for "Remember you must die"![]()
