Yes, you're right there sir.

I've been in the tire industry for quite some time now,

check the serial numbers of the tire, some may have 4 digits only,
some may have 10,
but the important thing to notice is the last 4 digits or the only 4 digits of the number

example,

0207 - 2nd week of 2007
0309 - 3rd week of 2009
0410 - 4th week of 2010

Bought a Dunlop LM702 (195/55/R15) in a very known car accessory shop diri... After a week nga nakataod, ako gipa limpyohan ang inner lip sa ako rims, and I was shock nga naguba jud ang tire pagtang-tang sa ligid from the rim...

I called servitek's manager and demanded a complete refund sa cost sa tire kay I was assuming that ang sayop ilang tawo...

But later, we found out nga naay problema ang goma sa akong Brand New LM702... So I immediately went to the shop and brought the damage tire and complained to them... They told me nga ila pa daw ipadala sa manila to have it tested... And they did not even care to refund me, instead papaliton ko nila ug usa until mabalik ang kato ligid nga ila ipadala... Sa akong kalagot, akong gipatangtang ang remaining three brand new tires nila ('cause they have been insisting nga ang nagtangtang daw sa ligid and di kamao), and guess what (all three shows the same characteristics, unyag tuyok sa machine, mangalangkat ang goma, until makita ang steel belt...)...

I maybe so unlucky.... and ended up buying another set which cost me around 30k (apil na ang dunlop LM702)

I switch to Pirelli na lang, until nabaligya nako ako daan nga honda city..

I really don't know whether it was a production issue, or daan na ang ligid nga akong napalit...

sus ako ana ipa media gyud dayon nako na.... nya pag reklamo nako ako nang videohan para naa evidence na tires gyud ang deffective dili ang nag tangtang para kung dili ko refunan or tagaan lain ligid file dayon kaso............ ka mahal ras ligid noh nya ing-ana ra.............
