Can Connect to Free WIFI But Cannot Browse WEB Pages

how to configure if i have all access.... from the server...my loptop is in remote to the server....how to go to the server operator i i connected to the lan.......

im using another hardware for the wifi....name ALFA...before its working and now....cant receive only sent i have signal.......

just try to ping the network if it works meaning u are connected... "ping yahoo.com"

There are those who use security measures like you mentioned here. You can connect to the free wifi, thinking that you can browse the internet but you end up disappointed because you can't.

The reason behind this is that, in order for you to browse the Internet, your gadget's MAC Address should be registered in the connecting network in order for you to browse the internet.

In other words, bisan mag 24/7 pa ka ug connect sa free WIFI nila, pero wala gi.register ang MAC address sa imong gadget, dili jud ka maka use the internet.

U cant even connect if ur MAC is not recognize. only MAC that is allowed can connect. It could be that the DHCP server does not connect u to the right Gateway. Or no internet at all.

if ur referring to free public wifi i thnk dili jud ka mka connect

as far as i know "free public wifi", which is in the list of available network is an ad hoc network.
