Naa man gani diha daghan magpakilimos sa may intersection padung old bridge, maayo unta gihatagan sad. kana unta way election manghatag sad.

That's no big deal. Kinasingkasing lang na paghatag, that's a commendable gesture and that's alright, but you know, in politics, it's another story and that's normal and natural. So again, no big deal, why? because we all knew nga sila tanan manghatag man and they have the same reasons.

Please read the news every now and then. The two bridges are under the jurisdiction of the Metro Cebu Bridge Management Board (MCBMB) headed by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia. Anything that has something to do with maintenance and repairs involving the bridge or any part thereof is the concern of the MCBMB and not by the local government units of Mandaue and Lapu-lapu.

I'm glad you support automated elections just like I do.

Yes, the two bridges in lapu2x/mandaue are under MCBMB. But I think the traffic light that is being referred to is under the National Government as it is located at the National Road. I am not sure though, but that is the way I see it.

The current traffic scheme, the manual traffic system being implemented there I think is beneficial than the computerized one. It has been observed that there were less congestion, less accident with the manually controlled traffic than the other one.

On the other hand, if it's otherwise not beneficial to the lapu2x constituents and it already took this long to repair it, the LGU is not exempted from the blame. The LGU must make initiatives to have those things repaired by the DPWH or it's respective agency because it's constituents are being affected and it's the obligation of the LGU to defend the right of it's constituents. The TS have a point, but it's just that it's better to leave it that way than going back to the integrated/computerize traffic system.
