asterisk is linux based , try daw 3CX Phone System - software based VoIP IP PBX / PABX for Windows which is windows based unya naa sila free edition.

TRixbox, Elastix, AsteriskNow are Linux base, you can run it on VMware or Virtualbox. for system requirements you just need an old Pentium 3 or 4 that has a 512mb of ram. all platform has a WEb user interface to control so nothing to worry about.
