I'm saying try it. luckyf says you cant vote more than once from the same IP address. well, try it for yourself. it allows you to. I'm not sure if the total respondent count is increasing or not. but it is allowing you to vote repeatedly

the deretso site only allows a vote from 1 ip as I also understand
FACTS FACTS FACTS - to vote for the chan poll you either go through welovemactan site or through micropoll site or through some other site that the polls are advertised in. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW AND I'M SURE OTHERS LURKING IN HERE TOO, what other sites is the poll advertised in? Aside from the two mentioned in the previous sentence. Are they Pro chan sites? Are they Pro Radaza, Pro Peleaz Pro Belong sites? Or are they neutral. And what is the traffic count that we can estimate from them if so?
ONLINE POLLS DO NOT REFLECT A GOOD CROSS SECTION OF THE SOCIETY - true. it doesn't represent the working class. the homeless. the informal settlers.
Its you who doesn't quite understand. From the data presented Radaza's results are closer with each other than Chans. Was never talking about the quality of the data. duh. As far as the quality of the data, well, they both have online poll results and radio results which we don't know where they came from or how they were conducted.
Oh and my dear as far as statistics go... true there is no set margin of error for political surveys BUT we all would like a margin of error that is workable for our consumption right. If you would like to work with a margin of error of 20% then I'm happy for you. Good Luck. But as far as MOST surveys (SWS, etc) then they sure are floating around 3% to 5%. Now I wonder why all they big survey groups (even internationally) stick to that figure?
MICROPOLL still allows you to vote over and over again. But the Respondents has remained the same. A good site such as that should at least inform users as such
LETS INVITE everyone from all parties to vote on both sites
We love MACTAN
DERETSO SA KALAMBO-AN!
The link has been posted a year ago right here in the very thread you are posting, and I'm very sure that I can safely say as well as all the istoryans here that istorya.net website is neutral, isn't it?
https://www.istorya.net/forums/politi...olitics-8.html
And now let me ask you a question, which you might consider a very dumb question but I have to ask it anyway. It is a fact that the Radaza survey is only posted in the deretso website. Now the question is: Are they Pro Radaza, Pro Pelaez Pro Belong site or Pro Chan site?
If that's the case that you are only talking about the numbers in the mentioned surveys and you are not even considering the veracity of it, then this whole discussion is practically MEANINGLESS. LOL!
tsk...tsk...tsk... I'm sorry to say that you did not get my point. Actually 3 to 5% is too high for a margin of error. Based on the variables I gave you and the formula of computation you can have a margin of error of less than 3% and this can achieve by increasing the sample size "n".
So it is said right from the horse's mouth, "But the Respondents has remained the same" , I rest my case. LOL!
Does the deretso survey, pelaez survey, belong survey "inform users as such"?
Then GO! GO! GO!
Micropoll Survey
DERETSO SA KALAMBO-AN!
Glad to know that it has been posted on a neutral site such as this.
As for your alleged dumb question, I dont consider it dumb. If you go over to the shout box at the deretso website, there are even more anti deretso shouts than radaza shouts. And I am sure, if they are taking the time to post a shout, chances are they would vote too as it is quicker.
first you say There is no usual figure for political surveys on the margin of error. then now you say Actually 3 to 5% is too high for a margin of error.
So which one is it? tsk tsk. BTW, we never argued or questioned how to calculate, so no need for the formula reminders.
don't make it sound like it's allowing you to vote. if you understand what you are doing, it will only show the same number of votes when clicking your choice of Mayor after casting your initial vote. you can't say it's allowing you to vote when the number of votes remain. it's only allowing you to CLICK on the BUTTONS but not counted, because you can't vote more than once from the same IP Address! you still don't get it, do you?![]()
AT LEAST 187,000 residents voted for either Arturo Radaza or Norma Patalinghug to serve as mayor of Lapu-Lapu City until 2010, the Patalinghug camp points out in a petition sent to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Why is that a problem?
There are only 148,870 registered voters in the city, the petitioners pointed out.
