Lesson #1: PROMOTE your Business Online

Imagine that you are a prospect. One day you open your e-mail,
and there is a message prospecting you to become a distributor.
The e-mail message is neat, makes a good offer, and you decide
    to join the new opportunity.

After joining the new opportunity, you receive a brand-new e-
mail message in your mailbox. This message is even better than
the previous message. This e-mail message makes a great offer
and you decide to join the new opportunity.

Two weeks later you get another e-mail message in your mailbox.
Not only does it make a great offer, but it has a color picture
attached that gets you excited. You decide to join this new
    opportunity.

Later, a brilliantly written e-mail message comes to your
mailbox. Not only does it have a great offer and a great color
picture attached, but the message also sends you to a
beautifully-designed web site. You decide to join this
opportunity because it looks so much better than anything else
    you’ve seen.

    Do we see a trend?

No matter how good our e-mail campaign, there will always be
another message that is even better. The first secret of
sponsoring over the Internet is this:

‘It doesn’t matter how you make the initial contact. What
matters is what you do with the prospect or distributor AFTER
    you make the initial contact.’

Some experts say that the first thing you should do with
Internet prospects is to get them OFF the Internet. This means
to visit with them over the telephone, meet them in person, or
    possibly send them written material.

You want to make a connection or a bond with your new
prospects. You want to quickly separate yourself from the
competition by creating a special personal relationship with
your prospect. You want your relationship to be so strong
that your new distributors will not be affected by the constant
stream of new e-mail offers coming to their mailboxes.

You see, it doesn’t matter how many distributors you sponsor. It
is how many distributors you KEEP that makes a difference.

We will not spend much time in this e-course discussing the
bonding techniques you’ll use. You can learn about those
techniques from my other audio cassette tape trainings. However,
this very important lesson about bonding with your new
distributors OFF the Internet can’t be overlooked.

You don’t want to be one of those leaders who builds a big
organization, only to see the organization dissipate and leave
for other programs. We want a permanent downline and a permanent
    residual income.

Now that we understand that we want to bond with and keep our
new distributors, you want to know how to INITIALLY sponsor new
    distributors over the Internet, right?

So, beginning with lesson #2, we will begin putting together a
rejection-proof system for sponsoring new distributors.

For now, I would like you to consider this:

    * What are you willing to do to bond and create a relationship
    with your new Internet-sponsored distributors?

    * Will you send them a personal e-mail welcome message?

    * Will you give them a call over the telephone?

    * Will you send them a postcard or a letter?

    * Will you send them a regular newsletter or update?

Why not spend the next day or two considering how you are going
to bond and build a relationship with your new distributors?

Lesson #2: PROMOTE your Business Online

In lesson #1 we discussed that we want long-
    term permanent distributors.

To get these distributors, we will:

    1. Create a steady stream of qualified prospects.

    2. Build relationships with these prospects.

    3. Sell these prospects on our service, product,
or opportunity through our web page, e-mail
    messages and personal follow-up.

    >> So where do we start first?

The #1 goal in our prospecting efforts is to
    COLLECT the prospects’ e-mail addresses.

If we only send our prospects to our web page
where they can read our selling copy — and if
they don’t join on their FIRST visit, they will
never return. And worst of all, we have no way to
    re-contact them.

Very few prospects join on their first exposure to
    our business.

So we want to create a way of capturing the
prospects’ e-mail addresses — so we can continue to
follow up with our prospects and build a
    relationship with them.

    * The initial goal of our web page is not to sell
the prospects, but to collect the prospects’ e-mail
    addresses.

    * The initial goal of our e-mail messages is not to
sell the prospects, but to collect the prospects’
    e-mail addresses.

We want prospects to opt-in to our mailing list.
We want them to give us permission to continue
contacting them about our business opportunity. We
want to create a mailing list of hot, qualified,
    ‘volunteer’ prospects.

Another way of saying this is:

‘Our initial goal is not to sell a stranger,
    but to create a prospect.’

All of our initial marketing efforts will be
directed towards collecting our prospects’ e-mail
    addresses.

This means that your web page will have a form to
collect your prospects’ e-mail addresses. On your
    web page you may use:

    * a reward
    * a free giveaway
    * an offer for more information
    * or some other inducement for the prospects
    to leave their e-mail addresses.

On all of your e-mail messages, you’ll want to
direct your prospects to subscribe to your mailing
list, or to go to a web page that contains a
    subscription form.

    >> So how you collect or keep track of
    all these addresses?

It is easy. You’ll use a tool called an
    ‘autoresponder.’

    Autoresponders are inexpensive mailing list
managers that collect your prospects’ e-mail
addresses and automatically sends your messages to
    your prospects.

You can create a series of messages or letters in
your autoresponder. For example, let’s say that I
am a prospect, and I requested to be on your
    mailing list.

Your autoresponder could automatically send me:

    1. A welcome letter immediately.

    2. A letter about one of your products two days
    later.

    3. An announcement about an upcoming incentive at
    your company three days later.

    4. A testimonial from one of your excited
    distributors four days later.

    5. A message to call you to discuss your
    opportunity five days later.

    6. Etc.

You create the messages you want your
autoresponder to send. You also control when
    those messages are sent.

    >> Homework:

To learn more about autoresponders, check out some
of the autoresponder services on the Internet.

You don’t have to sign up for a service right now,
but read how autoresponders work by visiting these

    Is MLM for you?
    Part 1 (by: Bo Sanchez)

This month, I’d like to talk about MLM.

Many people have various thoughts about
    multilevel marketing or networking.

Some think it’s a wonderful gift from God.
Others think it’s a curse of the devil, invented in the pits of hell.

Frankly, like anything else in the world, MLM is what you make out of it.

It can be a gift. It can be curse. It’s all up to you.

MLM has taken a nasty reputation these days.
Some people are shouting, “It’s nothing else but a pyramiding scheme! It’s a scam!”

It’s true, a lot of people have suffered because of it.
Sometimes because of the deception of others.
Other times, because of their own self-deception.

But I won’t generalize and say it’s all bad.

    It’s just like capitalism.
It can be a blessing, it can be curse.

According to Fortune magazine, Warren Buffet, the 3rd richest man in the world, the “Oracle of Omaha” known
    for being very conservative
and careful in his investments, bought into a direct-selling company.

If it’s a scam, the guy won’t touch it with a ten-foot pole.
But he didn’t just touch it. He bought it.

And we’re not talking of a fly-by-night industry.

Worldwide, some 47 million people are involved in
direct selling and have generated revenues of $88 billion.

Before I tell you how to discern a good MLM
opportunity from a bad one, let me explain first
what it is—so all of us will be in the same page.

MLM is the sale of a consumer product or
service, person to person, away from a retail store.

    - The person who sells earns a commission for
    every product she sells.

    - Aside from selling products, she also recruits others to sell.

If her “downlines” sell, she earns a commission
    from their sales too.

That, in gist, is what MLM is.

Now here’s the question people ask me often
about MLM: Bo, my sister (uncle, cousin,
officemate, prayer group leader, teacher, boss…)
got into MLM and is asking me to join her. Should I
    ?

    My answer is simple—“It depends.”
It depends on the company you’re joining.
It depends on the business system they have.
It depends on the product they’re offering you.
It depends on the leaders in that company.
    It depends on your expectations.
It depends on what you’re willing to give into this business.

In my next WealthStrategies Letter, I’ll tell you why. (To be continued…)

    May your dreams come true,
    Bo Sanchez

    Is MLM for you?
    Part 2 (by: Bo Sanchez)

Join MLM if You’re Heart is in it

I've learned that success is all about the heart.
    Passion. Love for the business.

I made a mistake by just getting into business
    for the sake of earning.

Years ago, whenever I liked an MLM product,
I would get into the business. The logic was,
If I’m a consumer, I might as well sell it to others…”

So I sold a special motor oil that extended the
    life of a car’s engine.
Even if I had no love affair
    with cars or their engines.

I even sold memorial plans. (I can assure you I
had no love affair with that product.) But all of
    them
bombed. I never earned a thing. Because
    my heart wasn’t into it.

If you don’t have passion for the product or
business, you won’t persevere during hard times.

Today, I’m still a consumer of many great MLM
products. (Last count: I buy from 7 companies!)

I think some of these products are of excellent quality.
But I no longer dare to get into the business side
    of things
if I know my heart is not there.

Today, I’ve limited myself to be active in only
one or two MLM businesses. Because they’re my passion.

One is an MLM company that gives financial
education (from smurky: i think this is IMG)
    to everyone—whether they buy their
    financial
products or not. I don’t earn barrels of

money from it. If you want to know, I earn an
    average of P30,000 a month.

My other income streams are much more exciting,
so why do I spend time doing this?

As I said, because its my passion.

I just love educating people in their financial life,
    hopefully
    rescuing them from financial misery.

So through this MLM, I can sell insurance products
as well mutual funds around the world.

Remember that 90% of people who join MLM
    eventually drop out.

    One reason is deception.
They hear the speaker in front of the room say,
“In a few months, you’ll be earning P100,000.
All you have to do is invite five people into the business. And then wait for your fat checks. It’s that simple.”

That’s a lie. If you hear a speaker say that,
    walk
    out of the room.

To be successful in the MLM business requires
    a lot of hard work.

I wish the speaker in front of the room would
    say the truth. Something like,

“If you’re willing to work until two in the
    morning everyday, join us.

If you’re willing to travel for miles only
    to be rejected
    by a friend, join us.

If you’re willing to make ten
    phone calls
a day, only to be ridiculed by nine of them,

    join us.

If you’re willing to work very hard—harder

than you ever worked before—join us… And
    then, you’ll start earning P100,000 a month.”

Some of my friends in the MLM business are ultra-successful.
But man, do they work hard.

And the reason they work hard is because they love what they do.

So at the end of the day, it’s all about heart.

    May your dreams come true,
    Bo Sanchez

Yes this is so true. Choose a company very well.
You must study their system and the leadership before you join.
A reliable MLM company doesn't make money recruiting people and commissions are only from sales alone.

MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing. Some times called Network Marketing.
A way of organizing people for the objective of selling goods and services to members and to the public. When operated correctly the business structure is similar to most corporate sales organizations which have sales people earning commissions and sales managers receiving a commission or bonuses based on the collective team's sales. All large corporations tend to have multiple levels of sales management with incentives and bonuses paid for hitting sales targets.

In some cases the same MLM structure can be used to create an illegal business where most of the actual sales activity is produced by signing up new members who then try to sign up more new members. Maybe better known as pyramid selling or a Ponzi scheme.

That is why study first the company before you join one. Because pyramid scheme usually fronts MLM so that they will be seemed legitimate. A reliable MLM doesn't make money recruiting people.

To add it up, people do not join mlm because of the company and its products, they simply join because of YOU. MLM is a relationship-building business. In order to succeed, you should build a relationship with your downlines and build it from the ground up...Just my 2 cents.

    PART 1
    The Notification Principle
    (by: Art Jonak)

Out of every 100 people in your warm market right now,
10-15 of them are seriously looking for an additional way
to make an extra paycheck every month. This article is for
network marketers who insist on keeping their business a
secret—or... "How I stopped complaining I had no
prospects and started building my business." - Art Jonak

    Training Proper
    :

You're ecstatic! Your brand new distributor has signed the
paperwork, sent it in and is now waiting for her kit and products
to arrive. As a well-trained sponsor, you've set up a "Getting
    Started
" training within the first 48 hours of your new
    distributor's network marketing career.

You sit down at the kitchen table with your new distributor, pull
out your manual and immediately turn to the "Memory Jogger"
    section and start reading...

Who do you know with red hair?

Who do you know that drives a mini-van?

Who does your taxes? Your hair? Your lawn? Your car repairs?

Do you have your college directory handy?

    How about your pre-school yearbook?

You keep going—you know the drill well, you've done it many
times before. You take a moment between reading questions to
breathe, look across the table at your distributor's list and...
there are only five names on it! There should be at least fifty by
now! You look up to see fear and doubt on your new
distributor's face as she shrugs and says, "I really don't know
    anybody else...."

    PART 2
    The Notification Principle
    (by: Art Jonak)

Out of frustration, you ask a few more questions from your
memory jogger... but still, your new distributor comes up blank.
Your excitement fizzles fast as you realize that once again
    you've sponsored a dud.

But did you really sponsor a dud, or did something else go
    terribly wrong?

    We lip-sync through this uncomfortable
    exercise, yet we rarely
take a moment to see if it actually
works or not. Why not, for a moment,
consider what is going through your
    new distributor's mind.

Could she be thinking, "I don't want to talk to anybody about
this business until I make my first bonus check?" or "I'm not
comfortable having my sponsor talk to my friends about this..."
or maybe, "The more names I put down the more rejection I
    might have to face...."

Or maybe you have distributors who say, "Oh, I don't want to
talk to my friends and relatives. They wouldn't understand. I
couldn't convince them to join my program. Instead, let me talk
to total strangers from another state. Maybe I'll just try to sell
them over the phone or by mail. Where can I run an ad or mail
    some prospecting postcards?"

If friends and close contacts don't
    like your presentation, trust me,
    strangers will like your presentation
    even less.

If we can't enroll people we know, people with whom we already
have some sort of positive relationship, what makes us think
that we can enroll total strangers? Maybe we just think things
will change if we find new people who don't know us.
