Haslem was awesome on Dirk, I give props to Haslem, Dirk had a terrible night... too bad Haslem got into foul trouble real early. Shaq did good.. bisag 17 points ra, he was 8 out of 11, if only he converted those free throws, would've mad a big difference.... as far as Damp and Diop goes, they need to lower Shaq's field goal percentage.

Turnovers was a factor on both teams... ni cancel out ra... Heat's bench sucked while Stackhouse was doing good... would've done better ug wala ma igo sa siko sa ilong courtesy of Shaq.

This game could've gone either way... Dirk needs to step up to really dominate the Heat.

a win is still a win. no matter how ugly Dallas played game 1, the win still goes to them. it's not the end of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd quarter that matters, it's when the buzzer sounds at the end of the 4th quarter that counts. nice game..

But things turned out differently as what you've expected, right? No one anticipated Terry's performance... he killed the HEAT. I certainly didn't see that coming. Good thing Terry picked it up, `cause Dirk certainly wasn't doing anything for the cause.

Anyway, no one's trying to argue about the win... it's a win, AJ will take that WIN anytime no matter how ugly it was... although I bet he won't be thoroughly satisfied with their performance especially with their defense.

yeah, you hit the nail on the head re AJ... at the podium after the 10 pt win in game 1 he answered questions as if they just lost the game by 20. he expects a lot from his team and so if they don't perform as expected, he'll let them have it, even if they won the game.. no exceptions. yes, he's just a rookie as far as coaching in the finals goes and Riley has been there 9 times, let me point out also that Riley lost his last NBA Championship (Knicks 94) against a new comer in Rudy Tomjanovich (2nd full year as coach) with young up and coming players of Houston anchored by Hakeem Olajuwon.

I didn't expect Terry to get 32 but I expected their bench to make the difference (2-24).

I don't think Riley's confidence is gonna be boosted because of his past achievements.... it's been 17 years since his last title. He's probably more nervous than AJ.

As expected... the MAVS bench did well, having STACK as a 6th man, you can't go wrong. Posey did good on the defense though, also did good on the boards.

Im think they should be expecting Jason Terry's game since he's Dallas 2nd leading scorer (17ptrs), just like what we expected from Miami, Wade, Shaq....Miami don't have consistent shooters like Dallas have....it's a good thing was Antoiine Walker was hitting his 3 pointers early in the game but was not able to sustain it throughout the game.[br]Date Posted: June 09, 2006, 03:37:40 PM_________________________________________________

that's a good thing about coach AJ, he instilled mental toughness, tenacity & the attitude of "never-contented" even they have the W in the bag.....I think Dallas would win this series either in 5 or 6....
