Vista wont boot up - Black Screen Only and Mouse Pointer

Hi guys,

I have a problem on my laptop. It wont boot on the welcome screen.

What i have is a black screen and the white mouse pointer.

The last thing ive done before this, I turned off the laptop not properly (when it hangs up).

I can still access the safe mode and tried some system restore & auto repair many times but still wont work.

Is it an HDD problem?

any help would be appreciated.

if you have tried system restore and it's still not working, then it's better you format it.
it's not HDD problem, it's really the system / OS crashed.

ayaw sa eformat choy.... etry sa tong System Recovery option sa vista nga CD or sa boot menu (kung naa)...

Try to boot into save mode, and run command prompt with admin rights. Then run sfc /scannow.
When it find damages system files, it will restore them, keep the CD ready.
