I WILL VOTE FOR MARY ANN. 16 years na siya as public servant and dako siyag agi. She was awarded both by public and private sectors. No less than Mayor Osmena awarded her as Outstanding Individual in 2004 during the Charter Day Celebration. USC Law Alumni Asso. also awarded her for her outstanding leadership and exemplary public service in 2004. In 2005, she was the National Awardee for Excellence in Leadership and for Barangay Justice System, besting 45,000 barangays all over the country. Last year, she was awarded as the Outstanding Alumna of Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion and Outstanding Alumna of the University of San Carlos, Virtus Award (Leadership Award), Outstanding Cebuano Award from the media. She has received various awards from the city and region. Mary Ann is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos. Certainly, dili siya drop-out.

Daghan ug programa si Mary Ann nga nahimo. First of all, the Barangay Hall was constructed during her first term as Barangay Captain. Mary Ann practices participatory democracy. She goes to the sitios and together with the constituents, they identify the problems and find solutions so that public funds will not be wasted. Many have availed of her one-of-a kind Medical Health Card. You don't have to be hospitalized to avail of it. Mary Ann also gave the Senior Citizens free penumonia vaccine without spending a single cent from govt funds. Ing-ana ka maayong laki si Mary Ann. Unfortunately, dili makagawas sa newspaper kay most of our media people are good friends of the other candidate. I know Mary Ann very well because we went to school together and I stake my life that she will make a very good Congresswoman if given a chance. I am doing this because it seems the public is not given sufficient information about Mary Ann and it would be very unfortunate if she doesnt win. We will be deprived of a public servant with excellent leadership qualities and a passion to serve. It is time for us to Make a Difference. Let's vote for MAD!

Perhaps, you were trying to be amusing, but if I may say, elections are very important as the results are determinative of whether our country will move forward or backward. If you love your country, being cute should not be a sufficient reason for you to vote for any candidate. Hopefully, you will change your mind and vote wisely for the sake of our country. Thanks.

I've read his leaflet and have heard him speak, as compared to Cutie, he is better, but let him run as Barangay Councilor first. He is a green horn in public service. It seems to me that pang-gubat and pang-gubot are his expertise.

Cutie has an advantage because of her father's resources, but if you have been following her campaign trail, it is her father who is campaigning. Cutie is not her own person. She is only good for posing before the cameras kay the media friends of her father give her media exposure, but way lami iyang speeches and dili pa gyud iya kay gi-diktar ra sa iyang Papa! LOL! In one of the affairs, she sang a song instead of giving a speech, sus, off key pa gyud. OMIGOD! Please lang, let's not push someone who will just be a laughingstock!

She claims to have studied at the University of the Philippines Cebu College from 1st to 4th Year. Motug-an unta siya sa tinuod! I heard her speak at UP and she said first year ra siya kutob. Also, her father explained in the newspaper why she did not finish college at UP. Conflicting statements. Magsabot unta sila sa silang pamakak. Anyway, walay mga tuig iyang kunohay scholastic records? Kay drop out siya for more than twenty years. Nibalik ug eskwela nga dali dali for a sem or two para lang kunohay naay gi gradwaran. Let's challenge her to show her T.O.R. para makita ang katag! I come from the Academe and dili mahimo ma CUM LAUDE kung dili ka nakatungha ug four or five year course and without underload and overload pa gyud. Diploma mill or misrepresentation? Nobody has the monopoly of the right ideas, that's why we are in a democracy. We should welcome change when it is for the better. Nagtypewriter na lang unta ta karon instead of computer or wa unta tay cellphone if we stuck to the old ways of communicating. Example lang na sa change for the better.
