Dili man gud sayon ma deny mam ky this is a BIG investment... In fact, it is my life's investment and it took a lot from me to persuade my parents on this... Sometimes it does get frustrating... But it is all a part of life...

For one thing, pirte jud ka kuti... Daghan kaayo documents, daghan kaayo ug letters... Comprehensive resume', IELTS pa... G balik2x pko sa alma mater nko, sa hospital, sa PRC...

I have joined seminars promoting the US, UK, Australia and Canada and I think New Zealand is the best and smartest choice AS OF THE MOMENT with the US shutting its doors to foreign nurses and the sad state of those who are duped by those agencies promising work in the UK... Nangalata na cla didto pirteng daghana... Inig human skwela, unsaon naman lang nga daghan naman kaayo g una didto... Ikaw pa mangita trabaho to feed yourself while studying... UK might be a smart choice a couple of years ago... But not now...

If ako2x pa g lihok, I think maabtan pko 1 year plus to finally get the neccesary documents right...

please dont get me wrong...it wud still DEPEND as to the result of your assessment/evaluation by the council. sila ra maka decide if U WILL NEED FURTHER COMPETENCE TRAINING OR NOT, MORE SO IF U WILL BE A QUALIFIED RN right away. but to give u, a heads up a bit...mostly though not absolute, overseas RNs which are not listed as part of the countries with close attachments to NZ or Australia etc... is usually ask to do a Competence Program. Like a re-entry level for overseas RN in a college or university.

Philippines is not definitely one of those countries they have a special bond with. Mura ra pod ni sa system nila ug kanang mo apply ka for a visitor's visa. naay list of countries who can go to NZ without a visa but just to register in their electronic travel authority system. tungod kani na countries naa existing relationship nila. this is just an illustration ha...

pero way sama sa usa ka hospital dire sa cebu..grabeh pangwarta...di mauwaw sa kabagag nawng...imbes madre unta ang gamanage...pwera gaba lang...

imagine...they are currently accepting 150 nurses as trainees...then they all paid 2500 pesos each...nya nakabati pa jud is dili OFFICIAL RECEIPT sa hospital ang gihatag...kana ra mapalit sa kilid2 nga resibo...

before cla nikuha og 150 kabuok..nagexam pa sila...1st exam worth 50pesos..2nd exam..350pesos...

then 1 more thing...they required each of the 150 nurses to have there medical exam in the hospital and paid another 1K plus..hahaha...di na lang ko mahibung kay perte expand sa ia building karon

is this PSH? dako ako duda ani gyud ky ako friend pod sauna ky gipa antos before nakalarga sa UK. what she did ky di man gyud sya makakuha ug employment certification so ni AWOL sya. ug naisahan niya ang madre ky ang certification na gi submit para sa SSS filing iya gi copyahan to prove to na employed sya sa PSH.

haha. mao. dako ayo ni cla gipangayo ug affiliation fee sa USC aron maka duty ang mga students didto. ambot pila to ka millions. mao cguro wa nipadayon ang usc ug bayad kay gimahalan ra. haha ug karon dili nami affiliated sa psh. hahaha asa kaha na mapunta ang kwarta. lol
