I was busy again with school papers. So, for your example Sol, here goes:

I have already been waiting for corrections for my questions above for days now.
Mapaabot na ko para ug mga sakto para ug mga pangutana ko ibabaw para daghan mga aldaw karon.

    Hmph, I need some explanations.
Kinahanglan ko jud og mga pamahayag.

How's that, Sol? It took me a while but I think I got it.

^yup you got it. good job! hehe

will just focus on "for" which you translated "para" above three times.

waiting for a bus = nagpaabot ko og bus
waiting for a friend = nagpaabot ko og amiga

corrections for my questions = mga corrections (para) sa akong mga pangutana

i have been waiting for 3 days now --> we use the "since" construction:
i have been waiting since friday = nagpaabot ko sukad biyernes
    OR
3 days i have been waiting = tulo na ko ka adlaw nagpaabot

    Busy again with school.

Ok, well I'm elated to know that I seemingly have a good grasp of 'gyud/jud' and 'na'. But can anyone answer the questions I posted in post #73?? Please!

Also, I'm going to update my journal pretty soon since I've been kinda busy. Salamat!

4/11/10 Edit: I'll be away for quite some time, so hopefully we can finish this in a couple of months. Thanks and see ya soon!
