well if your asking how much, i recommend you put the price on work hours (8hr/day) if that's gonna take some time. else, you might want to make a fixed price for the entire package, we worked on a student info system once for 50k. however since that's just a net cafe automation system, 10k to 30k will do depending on how good the output is. my uncle, bought the same system once for 12k, it was specifically designed for him, and it was good too, it runs on both Linux and windows clients and servers complete with other features. however, i think the best way to do it is on work hours in order to avoid establishing fixed price in the beginning of the project. this way, the total price of the package will depend on how many 8hr days you've been working on it.
