I dont know if naa na ba nag post ani...Im just curious nganong ang politics dre sa pinas kay grabe kaayo ka ubos. What I mean is nga ang mga tawo nga obvious kaayong kawatan ug mga rebelde makakandidato pa man ug positions na tag-as pa jud kaayo! Ultimo kanang nanga preso ug convicted fellons. Sus ginoo! Kung sa US man gali ultimo nanumbag ka atong kinder ila man gali utingkayon and himuong big deal and possible ma disqualify ka ana dre sa atoa nga lantaran na kaayo, naa na sa atbang, sugtan man gihapon sa Comelec. Di ba na about time na maghimo silag balaod nga nag butang na man lang ug criteria sa mga kandidato? Imbis nga maglalis sila anang mga airtime, in the first place wala na nila padagana or unsa, di ta maabot ingani d ba?

Our system is a reflection of ourselves as a people. Who created politics here? Is it not us, as a society acting in unison? Where do these politicians come from? Are they not of us, and therefore have the same flaws as we do no more no less?

As they say, "naglagot sa corruption kay suya" can you honestly answer that if you were in their shoes you would not commit the same abuses? I think the best you can answer is, you don't know, if you are honest about it. Because I've asked myself that question, and I honestly don't know. I may be as corrupt and abusive as these people were I given the power. There is no way to tell until you are given that power, but I would gander a guess, based on our culture and the way our people think, that the vast majority of us, if given power would do the exact same thing these people we love to hate do, and that is engage in corruption, favoritism to relatives, and incompetence. Sad but true, the problem is not the politicians themselves, it's cultural, it's in our blood and way of life already. Family above nation, self before others, me before you. That's our way...

That is why if we want our country to change, we as an individual need to change our ways first.
