@TS: Naay jumper if IDE imo gamit para ma setup nimo into slave. Firstly i set ang jumper then next sa bios is setup nimo into slave option. If SATA ka no need all you have to do is follow the SATA1, SATA2 etc..the SATA1 would be recognized as first HDD to load. You should also consider Boot priorities sa Bios.

automatic detect naman na inig boot nimo sa hard disk....f ang new hard disk nimo ma detect ug una..iilis lang ug IDE slot 1 to IDE slot 2...IDE slot 2 to IDE slot 1..

boot priority ra na bro kung unsa na drive imo gusto i master then siya ipa una para siya mo boot then dili na to ma boot ang mga naa sa second, third, etc as long as ang first one mo boot na. naay uban na mga OS di na mo run ug tarong labi na sa lain to na system kay lahi2x ug chipset ang mga motherboard mao na mag conflict etc.

its all bios and jumper set up it depend mo if gnahan ka 1st bot nmo kay ang master or slave but usualy bsta ang os pg.install wla kbasa sa imo mobo dli na pdayon ug bot most of the time but nakasuway ko ka.usa new mobo then old hdd w. os ni bot but pgsulod iya dayon gidetect new hardware

are u using ide hdd? if yes then here is the pin config @ the back of the hdd. u can see this symbols CS ... SL ... MA. short the pin with lable SL (Slave) vertically meaning the top and bottom pins. hope this helps cause i dont have a picture of the back of an hdd man gud...

if seagate na cya na hard drive... remove jumper... slave na cya daun...
