    i have read the good earth ages ago, emotionally draining kaayo ang story, i can't remember the first wife's name but i felt like her character was not given any justice at all. i felt sad for her.     I would also like to recommend John Dunning's "Booked to Die" and "Bookman's Wake". This is definitely a must for all book collectors.
