Recommend a Linux for Old PCs

mga bro, unsa may linux distro na inyo ma recommend sa akoa na mo run smoothly

sa akong pc with the following specs:

Pentium II 300 Mhz
128 + 64 MB Ram
8 MB Video Card
10 Gig HDD

Ibaligya na lang nimo P1K?

The only way you can make most of the distros run on this machine is to install only "needed" modules/apps/daemons". Maayo na lang kay naa pa ko atong mga karaan nga distros sa mandrake (former name of mandriva), red hat, etc... They ran fine ra man since I do some testing of linux distros from time to time.

i have tried ubuntu on a

celeron 450mhz
4mb videocard
152mb ram
10 gig HDD.

nindot man ug dagan okie kaayo...

Gnome mn ang default sa Ubuntu. Mas nindot ko sa Xubuntu. Mas gaan mn gud ang Xfce kaysa Gnome. Pero naay ra na nimo ky ok ra mn sad ang Gnome.

naka sulay pud ko sa xfce on Zenwalk Distro ok man pero dili man gud to user friendly ang Zenwalk. and kapuyan pud ko ug download sa Xubuntu. ning undang napud ko sa linux and i'm not sure if im going to install it again.

try DSL, damn small linux...50mb ra, pwede pud mo-run sa cd ky livecd cya.

any distro will do without gui ... or try it with xfce, icewm ... and other non-bloated gui ... and btw LTSP will do the job ... but then again youve given up already ... then this topic is no longer needed ..LOCKED
