Hi everyone! We came back this afternoon from Bukidnon! It was beautiful there...a needed rest. Now I am ready for the IRO meeting and so stoked (happy!) of the many interest. Hooray to the Cebuanos!

UPDATE ON THE CELL PHONE! I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THE CHARGER AND PRAYING VERY HARD THAT IT WAS NOT MYSTERIOUSLY HIDDEN BY ONE OF THE CANINE IRO MEMBERS IN THIS HOUSE!!! At times we have four pits, one chow-chow, one pug, two chihuahuas, three "hairy" dogs (I don't know the breed!)...a virtual day care center for doggies!!! God only knows if one of them decided to play hide and seek with the charger! In the meantime, for all those that texted or called the IRO cell, can you YM nalang or send me a PM through Istorya? Sorry about the inconvenience. See you at the meeting on the 27th.

IRO encourages all dog owners to enroll their puppies and doggies in an obedience class. Check out K9 Care's links below for the announcement of new upcoming obedience classes. K9 Care also have Agility Classes. It is healthy to keep your dogs busy and in activities. I am enrolling my Derrick, a rescued pit-mix, who is 16 months old in agility class. Thanks.

Let's give our support to this Organization, It's the first in Cebu, correct me if I'm wrong. And being a part of this group's goal and mission, is a great task and something that we all can be proud of. I cant wait to see I.R.O.'s very own animal shelter in a couple of years or hopefully, even sooner.

Thanks Tita Nena, for bringing this in Cebu. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there with a kind and sincere heart who is willing to help and volunteer for the groups activities. Count me in!

Thanks goes to all of you for loving animals and supporting IRO! Our goal is to have the rescue center/sanctuary by 2011! We will be looking, God willing, for a site outside of Cebu City for the center. I always believe that the animals will do much better in a rural area where it can be self sustaining and environmentally healthier for animals to heal and be ready for adoptions.
