i agree that our legal system has so much loophole. there is so much corruption. the SALN, while typically is not honestly answered by our officials can be used against them. kung wala SALN, what alternative do you have in mind?
this is not a perfect world raski. there is so much corruption that it should be stamped our little by little.

I don't like Noynoy but pictures like that imo are unhelpful and pointless. I assure you, if you take any Camera capable of shooting 100 fps, you can catch anyone in a position that makes it appear that they are sleeping. This is because all people blink their eyes...
This is in fact a favorite tactic of the Inquirer. If you look at all their front page shots of PGMA, they will always be of her with a growling face, or her teeth baring like a tiger.. is it because this is Gloria's normal facial position or is it because they used a sports camera to take thousands of pictures of her so they can select the most unflattering and angry picture to post on their front page?

Can be and has been are entirely two different things in this country. It's the same with the "lifestyle check" where a politician (by law) should be able to be hauled off to courts merely on the basis that their lifestyle are not in sync with their incomes. Part of the reason there is so much corruption in our country is because the courts themselves are corrupt and demand a very high standard of evidence beyond what the actual law even requires. This is because it allows the justices some leeway to arm-twist the corrupt politicians into sharing some of that wealth. If you don't believe this, just consider the recent ruling of the Supreme Court justices on the appointment of the CJ position. Stamping out corruption little by little, means it will take 10,000 years to eradicate corruption. These SALNs are not the solution.. an overhaul of the justice system is...
