I think one sided ra kaayo..... You don't have the right to question their wealth coz they deserve! That was the product of their hardship. Villar declared only 1B. yet, his expenses alone has amounted to almost 2b. forbes values villar at around 24B pesos.

look at the disparity between 1B and 24B pesos.

hard work? for the past 18 years, villar has been working in government, why is he worth more than our full time businessmen? ask yourself. katong full time nangita ug kwarta nga mga maayo sad kaayo sa negosyo, yet we have our speaker and senate president earning billions and billions.

as far as people know, he only worked for around 5 years for Danding. His father was a government employee. administrator sa SSS. yet, his worth in 1998 was already 80m. so how did he earn it.

in 1990, minimum wage was around 3k a month. Even if Gibo was being paid 100k a month by danding, he should have earned only about P5m for the five years he was in service to danding.

Villar: Started with a net worth of P75.43 million in 1992, grew it to PP319.92 million in 1996, P481.5 million in 2002, P759.82 million in 2005, and closed it at P1.05 billion in 2008.

Teodoro: Makati condo unit worth P39.98 million;

Of the five candidates, Gordon is the most detailed and forthcoming in his SALN declarations. ( for gordon on this aspect)

Teodoro, cars worth P19.55 million in 2008.

Strange is the sudden surge in Teodoro’s stocks portfolio since 2007. In 1998-2005, stocks valued at P5.20 million. In 2007, rose to P11.70 million. In 2008, grew to P23.95 million.

Curiously, again in 2007, Teodoro’s cash pile doubled to P10.06 million, before sliding back to P8.5 million in 2008.

Villar, is the stingiest with details offered in his SALNs.

Value of his stocks : P208,684,740.

What has fattened enormously is Villar’s cash pile. The “cash on hand and in bank” of Villar tripled from P33.6 million in 1995 to P125.5 million the next year. The 1996 total doubled to P274.9 million in 2002.

Villar gave no details of his cash on hand and in bank from 2003 to June 2007.
In December 2008, he reported that his “total other properties” P818.45 million, or about 80 percent of his total net worth of P1.05 billion in 2008.

PCIJ requested copies of his 2003 and 2006 SALNs four months ago. Teodoro had not replied since.

So the big question, how come that Teodoro and Villar, who have been working in goverment since 1998 and 1992 have incomes rivaling those of full-time businessmen?

Villar has been in government since 1992. We know he has businesses, but as government officials, you are supposed to keep your hands off from running such businesses.

Teodoro has been in government since 1998. from 1995-1997, he was in harvard. So in theory, it was only during his time as dandings lawyer from 1990-1995 that he earned his cash.

So, guys, you be the judge, have these people been working for the people or working for themselves?

If working governmenet makes you earn hundred of millions or billions, no wonder these two guys are spending so much money to be elected president.

nope, Gibo did not answer it clearly. he only made reference to his dads inheritance, who died in 2007.
