# a dull arrow is better than no arrow at all...
# a dull arrow can still be deadly...
# a dull arrow can potentially be sharp enough
syempre ang maayo na indian kamao mu pili sa saktong tools na gamiton...
but kaya pud niya gamiton what is available and make the most out of it...
my take on the matter..."by the best most expensive you can afford..."
if you can't afford it...stop drooling about it and get the next best cheaper lens...the one you can afford...
btw, just to point out, both of the lenses are fantastic...
they are way better than any tele zoom lenses out there...
so if pro photographers can get away with fantastic photos using the 55-200/55-250/70-300/75-300 lenses, there is no reason you can't make either lenses work like a charm and produce fabulous images (other than your a lousy shot)
btw personally i prefer the sigma ex lens over the tamron
