K20 siguro...
K20 siguro...
yes. basically a K20 with hi comp pistons, race cams and programable box...
congrats to kartzone.K20 @ 264whp is like N/A with turbo power with no LAG.
Maayo kaayo ug power sa dyno, lets see unsay dagan sa drag race at bacolod this coming weekend!!!
We are hoping to make low 11s if walay blema!!
Non Turbo Dyno Record by Jess Garcia of Kartzone....264 WHP. So far the most powerful NA engine.
They said this 264whp engine didnt last long during the bacolod race
hehehe....mga 3 runs ra cguro sa 1/4mile...and wala pa jud naka post ug good time....knocking dayon!!!
Before they went to Bacolod they peaked the engine and attained 279WHP....I guess the engine internals could not take it...probably a lot of HP for an NA but mismatched parts used in the build did not make it last long...maybe next time again....gotta work on reliablity...its not all about horsepower!!!!
Could it be they don't have a good lubricant?![]()
I doubt it about the lubricant....they were using a very good oil...fully synthetic ester base oil...dili lang nako mention ang brand.
The reason the engine did not last was because of the rod ratio. The rods were too short for the rpm (9000) they were doing so there was so much stress on the crankshaft. It was a Kseries engine with a CRV engine block to achieve a 2.4 liter displacement...to solve they have to use longer rods to lessen the stress at high rpm. This is something hard to understand but if you really want to to understand it just do a search about rod ratio and you will kinda get the explaination!!!
Sobra ka scientist ang mga nag set-up na overlook and rod ratio, had they set the redline at 8000rpm maybe the engine could have lasted a little longer, making a CRV engine rev 9000 is too much!!!
