I think the best thing that we need to do as a citizen is to help the people who has given the chance to serve the people. If we always criticized the administration, that well not do anything good for the government or to ourselves.

    Let's always think positive.

In fairness, you've got a point here... but you know, this is so easy being said than done. that's why we need to elect officials that will determine what really is the best for the people and NOTwhat is the best for themselves.

government officials do their thing, citizens also do their thing respectively. we ordinary citizens work for a living while govt officials already have their position for a living. they are paid. we can't afford to skip work just to interact with the officials and chip-in our two cents. gov't must find a way so that we will have easy access to their transactions and there will be utmost transparency.

the lapu2x government have an official website, lapulapucity.gov.ph. there was a forum page before but was taken out. that was a good place for people to help them (officials) by listening to the constructive criticisms or there are even plain suggestions and opinions. people on that forum were praying that somehow officials post replies, if that's the way you want it to be...(interactive type of government). the page was gone without hearing anything from any of them. why it was removed? maybe because these officials don't want our inputs. so how can we help them serve better for the people?

This is correct. Because our election here is not a matter of facts, is not a matter of one's decision, is not a matter of opinion, is not a matter of qualities and qualifications, etc... but rather a matter of manipulation inorder to get votes. this is the sad reality. If we continue to be a blind, deaf and mute on this sad facts, you already knew where are we heading into...

In my own opinion I think voters right now is much more educated compared to how voters select there candidates 10 years ago.
