Naako Western Digital My Book which my niece dropped. Since then dili na ma detect ang HDD. ako gikuha ang HDD from the case den ako drecho plug sa PC but dili gihapon ma detect. Is there anyway I can fix my HDD? if ako e RMA, dawaton pa kaha nila? Will I send the whole package or ang HDD lang?

E try lang pa RMA bro, wala man mawagtang nimo. Daghan pud mangayuhay diri ug HDD, suwayi ilang mga serbisyo.

i dont know if pwede pa ba ma pa warranty nimo sa imo gipalitan if imo na gi ukab ang enclosure pero im sure naay mga mo dawat sa seagate, hitachi, maxtor sa buy and sell. search for infoseeker man cguro to.

the moment you "broke" the warranty sticker or they see that you have opened the peripheral, warranty is out of the window.

katong pagplug nimo unta na wala ma-detect nangutana sa unta ka dinhi unsay pwede buhaton. Kay kung any parts na under warranty naa defect uli dayon para matest (to confirm) then get a replacement.

Check for the serial for that hdd sa web kung pwede ba siya ipa-rma.

yah i agree with him. sayang imo na open. if wala to xa visible physical damage pwd man unta na nimo mabalik sa imo gipalitan to try if ilisdan ba na xa sa WD. sa imong case VOID n jud ang warranty ana.

Kung void na imong warranty, kasagaraan ma lose contact rana sa sud, naa paman kaha power? Try ilis ug enclosure kanang naay dual nga usb ang other end para sa power sa enclosure. Mao sab na problem nako sa akong hitachi nga ext.

nope... my book is a package... and you have to return the complete package for warranty that means the HDD and its enclosure... and also should not have any physical defects due to mishandling...

yep, try to return the hdd sa enclosure na dili "visible" na opened na siya. Kay kung mupalag sila kay pwede nila i-refuse. Hope lang na makalusot.
