Now on to Issue #2. The Chinese have been around since 7000 B.C. Ergo, their culture has matured enough to the point that when discussing issues pertaining to science and technology, they have developed their own terms and jargon to describe things of science and technology, using their own language and alphabet. Thus, it would be easy for them to discuss mathematics and science because they would have indigenous words for things such as "calculus" or "experimentation". Now, how old is the Cebuano/Visayan culture compared to the Chinese?
Now, let's see you try to discuss the Pythagorean theorem using Cebuano.
There is a a reason why English is the preferred medium in discussing these things in college or university--wala nag buot-buot ang mga teacher niani--it was done for a purpose, and that purpose is the finding of the common ground, so that there would be less difficulty for the instructors to teach what they are trying to teach.
