oopppss, sorry..
medical break throughs po..
See what you are doing? You are showing only ONE side of the definition of cheating... now check this source:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cheat
1 : to deprive of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud
2 : to influence or lead by deceit, trick, or artifice
3 : to elude or thwart by or as if by outwitting <cheat death>
Now, in my post, the gist of my message was in the flavor of definition Number 3--again, it's NOT my responsibility to explain what I posted, because anyone who has had the proper exposure of how I used the term "cheat" in the statement would automatically know that that was what I was implying. Unfortunately, there seems to be some people out there who don't get it, but again, that's not my problem--but under no circumstances should I be dictated to change what I posted simply because it doesn't fit the image of the definition in someone else's brain!
So if I say I "cheated death", does that mean I did something fraudulent? *hysterical laughter* You see how you guys keep on going out of context? Now I'm genuinely entertained.

Most of the technological innovations that have helped humans thrive in this planet are "cheats".

we're here to listen.
but careful, stick to the topic.
OT
Yes of course. Based on definition #3 (3 : to elude or thwart by or as if by outwitting <cheat death>), most of the technological innovations that have helped humans thrive in this planet are man-made-creations that elude or thwart human's from dying, or simply put "cheating death via a man-made object that would aid humans in existing in a harsh world".
