hmm... sakto kun ang purpose sa pag breed is to propogate the species or to counter the demand for wild-caught specimens, but if purpose lng is to make it as pet, buying the turtles in the shop is a way to save them. (applied sa commonly available turtles like RES), other thing is, kung mupalit sad kag turtle nga endangered sa wild ug ny possiblity ma extinct, refrain from buying. Again, this way, ma counter ang demand for wild-caught turtles.

hahahaha ~ d sad ui, lahi sad nang sa side sa marine turtles, ginikuha sad sila sa wild ang eggs so that mka accumalate sila tanan and then once mu hatch, buhian dayun sa wild; besides this also a way to protect their numbers since daghan factors nga ang baby turtle ma deadz w/o reaching mang gani adulthood..

sa side pod sa pignose , ginikuha sila not because concerned ang nagkuha sa ila, say 4 example gikuha sila to assure na mabuhi sila tnan, dayun buhian ra sa wild f mu hatch na; sad to say, purpose sa mga poachers is to take care of them because they make good money in business. Murag gikuha sa poachers ug ilang gi gam ug maayu to assure nga nkuha nila ang quota sa live specimens, pero once ready for sale na, bahala nag maunsa sila dd2 inig shipment or asa mua bot ning mga baoha bahala ma dead basta na silay kwarta-

Poacher gets turtle eggs to incubate them til they hatch and ready to ship.
Store buys from the Poacher (Poacher may consider himself also as a supplier or sumthn')
Here comes the buyer
Buyer bought the turtle aquired by the poacher from the wild
Buyer then realizes to free the turtle sa wild to save it.
(not knowing that)
Store rejoices, saying "naa dae daghan interesado aning baoha" so he/she demands for another shipment of poached turtles.
Poacher rejoices , saying "ah so sikatx2 dae ni sa pet trade, I'm goin to harvest(eggs) more".
(as for the Buyer)
Buyer freed the turtle, however, because wa siya(turtle) kaila sa envronment, will die of starvation. (or)
maybe nabuhi ang turtle, nkkta ug mate ug nanaghan, only to be poached again by the Poacher.

and the cycle goes on.
