didn't you buy a V8? its already good..
People watercool because they want everything to be cooled, mostly for overclocking, but i know some in cebu who watercool and don't overclock
Depende ra sa tao, you might think its a waste of money to watercool if you won't overclock, for others it isn't, its still cooling the the processor and motherboard. Some goes in lengths to watercool video cards as well, and still don't even overclock them, becase the stock reference cooling is insufficient. People like this just wants low temps.
example:
depending on ambient temps
i7 920 stock heatsink @ 2.66ghz ~ Idle Temps - 40-50c, Full Load Temps - 70-85c+
i7 920 w/ a nice watercooling setup @ 2.66ghz ~ idle Temps - 30-40c, Full Load Temps - 55-60c
Water is very nice if you have very low ambient, if for say 20c ? which is rare in Cebu.. since we have an average of 32c+ outside
20c ambient would give you 20-30c idle temps, 40-50c full load temps.. give or take
if your computer is in your room with a nice AC, and always on like 24/7.. then this can go for 20c ambient
Lastly it makes your computer life longer, makes your computer look cool, sick, wicked ? lol.
