i have clashed with 'vern' before and even with 'demonyita'.. My old username before got banned -'joshbonz' all for the sake of double posting a thread- michael jackson died thread..

i made a new thread (w/c another higher level istoryan had already made na diay, to which i didnt know at all pa) and for that... I got permanently Banned here sa istorya...

I had to create a new username again (this one) and start all over again to post couple times (from newbie to senior) so that i just be where i am now..

I have already put my skeletons inside the closet as i am at peace with the mods here.. I have realize deep down that you will never evr go somewhere if u fight or clash with them.. they gave rights to post ur ideas and thoughts and they gave u rights to sell ur wares here in istorya.. When u sell something here.. did they get something in return for the merchandise u sold? No..

My point is just really very simple.. if you can't handle it then don't come or login anymore here sa istorya.. Go to a different site and be contented and at peace on that site.. Never login back here nalang..

I am not siding with anyone here.. But everytime you come here sa istorya.. You are walking in a thread line between what is not and what is right.. Not for u alone but for the rest of the istoryans login in.. You can share ur ideas.. But think a million times before posting words that might offend or be construed to another person here.

there's really no point in raising a campaign pn your side bro.. If u don't feel in any way satisfied or contented with how the mods here treats you or if you feel abused and mistreated.. Then i would suggest you leave istorya and go to start somewhere else...

Perhaps if there might be a cebuano website that is pretty much the same as istorya in all forms and whatchamacallits.. Then put up a website like that.. I would be glad tingali to join the bandwagon if istorya.net has a direct competitor website jud...

For now.. Rest ur case bro.. that's all i can advise peacefully to you nalang..

I have been reading this thread since last night, reviewing comments and one thing I have noticed is we need to realize that people forget about "Personal Responsibility". It is one's personal responsibility to read the rules and guidelines, It is ones personal responsibility to abide by those rules, and it is ones personal responsibility to learn from mistakes. When one joins Istorya, one has to read the rules, we offer a choice to accept it or not. What people don't realize is when given an infraction that is the warning. I'll be honest here, I too have received an infraction when I first started here, I wasn't warned by a mod saying - Ke, ill give you an infraction ha, dont get mad ha, or change it before I give u an infraction ha, we need to impose it because when rules are broken one has to remind people to learn and not do it again. I was given one , I understood fully why the MOD had to do it, I accepted it and we moved on to better things.

People need to understand , We don't find Joy in giving infractions, let alone Ban people. When discussing things among mods and admins, I have learned that these infractions are just to teach people to be more aware of actions, so learn from it and lets set our egos aside.

It makes me sad to see people posting about how this and that is bad so on, it just doesn't help us all ..... In fairness, after been given the infraction I bet mods would even find it better if one would ask in a nice way through pm , why I was given an infraction , can u please show me where I went wrong, so on.... I'm sure we would gladly answer your question and even appreciate it because you want to learn so hopefully it could help you move forward knowing what to do and not plaster it here telling everyone he/she is sooooo bad.... C'mon we can do better than that.

Folks we are all human, Mods aren't perfect either, hence a guideline is in place. Mods review a lot of issues and hopefully make judgments based on guideline. We try to aggressively resolve and issue but like any community, company so on... we need to have patience. So We expect members to abide by those guidelines. If one has not read the guideline I urge you to do so.

Once again these posts does not help in the overall picture, there is always a solution to things. Its either we all lower our pride and do it the right way or we do it the hard way.

Lets all learn from this and hope everyone has a wonderful Istorya experience - we are all in one community , lets work to make it better.

I disagree, moderators are just mere inforcers who impose the furom rules and yet just like policemen some do abuse the authority given to them. Administrators are the one's like god's they can bend the rules they themselves made...

i agree that admins are gods, they can just bend the rules any way they want.

but i think mods are istorya gods too. they decide who's right and wrong and they can't be forced to explain their side. they have the rules and reg to back their actions, but the application of those rules and reg are largely based on how they interpret them. for example, if you somehow oppose their opinion in a thread and used a stronger language than usual, they can just say you're being disrespectful and that's that. the very fact that they have the prerogative to ban anyone they want without appeal or review proves that. some perhaps abuse and p'haps would have to answer to someone higher up the chain of command then, but the deed (like banning someone) is over and done with and i dont believe one such case has been overturned. also, kung sungayan ang admin, then i'm sure there's nothing stopping mods from being sungayan too. But then well, that's okay, doesn't really matter. so guys, rock on! *winks and smiles*
