I'm heading to Lake Danao Natural Park in Ormoc City this Feb. 6 & 7, who's game enough to join??
I'll be leaving 2200hrs on the 5th of Feb., be back in Cebu City by the 8th early dawn..

boat fare - P350 (economy class), P450 (toourist class) x2 (roundtrip) = P700 or P900
land fare (mini-bus to lake danao) - P100 x2 (roundtrip) = P200
park fee (lake danao natural park) - P25/pax
miscellaneous expenses (food, fuel, etc.) = all up to you


BTW, this trip is postponed till Feb. 25-27.

Great photos here...

Have checked your feet after you took those photos up on the viewdeck? Tiny bloody leeches infest that place... and i bloody love it!! Last-time i wallowed my feet in a single spot there, leeches sprouted up my bloody feet, like daisies...

And i bet you used your LX3 to take these photos, ei? Very nice...

It's good to know that they've finally managed to finish building the whole trail that circumnavigate the whole lake..

Lastly, i missed the Narcissu family (my adopted family up there). Their the one's who takes care of my stay everytime i visit this paradise..

@herp_doctor.. oh yeah.. leeches.. i didn't see any this time.. but the last time, they were aplenty! i used my Nikon for this shoot... i love the place.. it's like NATURE NATURE NATURE!!! And i love the temperature... it's so cool there. what an escape from the city heat.. Whew.

Nice ang Lake Danao. We were actually crazy enough to go scuba diving there. Cold, cold water, and very dark. Gigantic petrified trees on its silty bottom. It's like Sleepy Hollow down there. They say there are giant eels (kasili) there but we didn't have the pleasure of meeting one underwater.
