CO2 is the by-product? That's a greenhouse gas. Problem coming?

There is CO2 because it uses Natural GAS, Biogas. Fossil Fuels are carbon base.

it will produce substantially less CO2 that coal fired plants or natural gas power plants.

it will cost $1 Million dollars to buy 1 Bloom Energy Server producing 100KW

This would be ideal for BPOs since they consume a lot of power.
the advantage here is it will cost less per kwh than VECO. current veco rate is close to 8 pesos per KWH.

Base on the specs it can produce power at 4-6 pesos per KWH.
    SAVINGS are huge

I think it can also ran on LPG....

in 1 year your can save 3-4 Million pesos.

nice figures but it would be good to know the return rate on investment. That's $1M for a 100 kW server/generator. how long would it take to recoup the capital investment?

what is the life-span of the server? How much is the cost on maintenance?

There is no doubt that this is something good and should be supported but it cannot be denied that it's also pricey at the moment. A 100 kW Cummins diesel generator is only around $25,000.00. That's almost 35 times less than this $1M sleek new tech. Plus, there is no maintenance cost if we just buy power from the grid. So, we can do the math.

Anyway, new and "clean" power always comes at a price. We pay if we go hip and environmentally-friendly.
