Epicurus has little knowledge of God's plan to abolish evil. In the future God will destroy evil. why not now? The bible has this to say...

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. ( 2 Peter 3:9 )

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ( 1 Timothy 2:4 )

He is giving everyone ample time to repent. When He comes judgment follows and those who are unrepentant cannot enter His Kingdom.

God loves us all but it is our unwillingness to accept His Gift of Salvation and forgiveness that is keeping us away from His grace.

maybe epicurus has little knowledge of God's plan, who knows. I have read some of epicurus' work I have to say he, albeit wise, does have little faith in God. may I ask what makes timothy more credible the epicurus? I'll be the first to admit I have not perused his writings nor do I know his biography, I do know he has a book in the bible thats about it. educate me.

credible in what terms? if its on matters of faith then the answer to your question can be found in your very own words- "I have to say, albeit wise, does have little faith in God" .
