first of all the girl is not looking for someone to love but a provider. it is impossible for you to make her love you because that is not what she is looking for. even if you have the wealth, still it will not make her love you but just take advantage of what you have. maybe what makes you feel attracted to her is purely physical

get close but don't attach

attachment is a manifestation of selfishness, that's how i see it. some people react like is it possible to be close with someone without attaching? definitely yes!! it has been a thought that the only way to be close is attaching oneself, giving out everything the person have. when the person you attach with is gone then you are left with nothing but heartaches.

consider this:

- you don't own anybody
- you can't totally control anybody
- you already survive before that person came into your life, you will not die without that person
- what matters more is the moment you had with the person, not only the person
- cheerish the good moments, learn from the bad ones, miss it when it's gone, prepare for the new one
- life is a cycle, what comes around goes around

and always remember that "every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"

This is so true and I know a lot of people who cannot totally grasp this. The reason why people sometimes get attached to other people or things is basically the "high" they get out of it, whether it be physical, emotional, or sometimes even the violence that comes with it.

In relationships, amorous or friendly, the attachment may be manifest in commitment and leveled-off expectations. Sometimes, unmet expectations and unhonored commitments cause a stir and lead to doubt when the foundation of trust is not that strong, especially if there is some history. Sometimes, for long-standing relationships, the attachment could be toward the routine which has become comfort zone for the individuals involved, inhibiting one's spontaneity and cultivating risk-aversive behavior, in layman's terms: playing safe.
