BDO Credit Card: Am I the first?

Akong sistah kay naa poy BDO credit card bag-o palang jud niya nadawat karon palang nga month bisan wla siya mag apply pero gitagaan siya ani, automatic man kuno ni basta naay account sa BDO pero ni ingon ang nag dala sa card nga cartero dili kuno ni mabayran kay wala pa maactivate. so that means wla jud ni bayad bisag usa ka daku if dili ma activate ang card.

uso naman na karon ang mga pre approved cards gud.. pero as long as dili na nimo gamiton, wala man silay right mo gukod nimo...

I have previous similar experience also but with BAI sa Unionbank. Since I have an account before sa Unionbank, they sent me a pre-approved BAI credit card. Since I have no plans of using it, I just kept it in my drawer intact. Almost a year came, they sent me a bill for my annual fee. That's the time I got alarmed. I wrote a complaint letter and hand-delivered it to Unionbank Fuente returning the bill and the unused credit card. I let them signed the copy of the letter that they have received the bill and the cc.

From then on, wala nako gisamok-samok nila. So if TS has no plans of using the CC, you can do what I did. And do it right after you received the card.

That was what I was wondering about and even scared of. Dali-dali ra diay ni nila ingun-ani mga tawo. I didn't sign up for anything and how were they able to know where I worked and even the full address? Magbuot-buot lang diay ni sila? They are breaching our privacy of information.

Ang kataw-anan pajud kay nag-una pa ang bill kay sa credit card kay to be delivered pa kuno pag ask nako kung kinsa nagkupot sa card karun. Di ba ka makuyawan ana na basin naa nay lain naggamit adto?

They asked me if I shop at SM frequently and yes, I do buy things there using my other credit card but that doesn't mean they could just imagine that I want their credit card and automatically assume that I want one. This is so RUDE!

ang BDO ug SM usa ray owner...tingale sige kag swipe sa uban nimo credit card, nya wala jud kay BDO card...mao nga silay na ang nag apply ngale nimo....so ang imong privacy...na disclosed na noon...

just two weeks ago i received a BDO Dual Gold MasterCard Credit Card. i never applied for this. tungod sa akong ka busy karon pa nako giablihan ang envelop i never thought nga naa jud diay card sa sulod. naa pa suwat nga no need for activation. ready to use na daw. akong gikagul-an nga basin automatic sad mo minus sa ato account. i have no plans of using credit card kay basin magka utang2x na nuon.

^^just don't use it. If they will charge you annual fee on it after a year, you have all the rights to complain.

ang ako na expire nalang wala jud na gamit. pero sa other banks cc nako gamit.

Sir, report it to BDO na lang.kana new building sa BDO dapit sa fuente..naa man gud na mga charges bisan dili na nimo gamiton..example ana is annual fee etc..write a complain letter to BDO with a sign sa recoveries or any authorized personnel..kay kung verbal lang gud, wala ka proof nga imo na gipaclose ang account..

naay uban mamroblema na tawn ug unsaon para lang makakuha ug ccard. lol
