Bitaw mga Sis, seriously mao ni siya hinungdan.

Women are more biologically susceptible to HIV infection and are, especially in Africa, less able to cope with it due to cultural, social and economic factors, experts told the 14th International Conference on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa in Abuja, Nigeria.
"Nearly 60 percent of infections at the moment are in women, most of them in younger women," Helen Jackson, UN Population Fund's HIV/AIDS advisor for southern Africa, said today at the conference. "The physiological data seem to indicate it's something like twice as easy for women to become infected as for men."

Aids is when your immune system is really low. Aids is not a disease aids could be flu, viral infection or chest infection. It is the HIV which wears down your immune system putting you at risk from common illnesses which will kill you. In answer to your question you would have to drink 2 buckets of saliva to even start to be at any risk. If you or the person you are kissing has any open wounds and blood is passed between them it is possible to catch HIV but the risk is small.

-an answer from someone on yahoo! answers
question was, can aids be transmitted through kissing?

actually there are no concrete proofs that women are more susceptible, currently women and men have almost equal chances of getting it, and there is no vaccine or treatment for HIV as of the moment. The virus has no racial boundaries. The virus is spread in almost all bodily fluids except in mild kissing (smack, etc.), and in perspiration. It usually takes 4-6 years before the initial set of symptoms appears, which by then you will be immunocompromised and will have a myriad of symptoms depending on which infection you will get. By the way, If you know anyone with HIV/AIDS please advice them to report to DOH or any health organization this is to prevent spread and to help the patient cope with his/her illness.
