Yes, we really cannot please everyone. We do not give just because we are expecting something in return. We share bec. the feeling is great that we have made people happy. diba?
So sad to think that most people nowadays link the gift giving or kawang gawa to a some kind of politics, we cannot really blame them bec. it is true that most politicians only do it when election is aproaching and forget evrything after they are seated already.
When my son received his first paycheck, he gave it to me, but I did not accept it coz he needs it more to start with. On the next day, he brought some hotdogs,corned beef and spaghette and cooked it, then placed it in 50pcs.styropore (packlunch).He drove the car,,, whenever he passed-by a street child or beggar, he will slow down and give it to them then drive again towards another location until the last pack.
When he got home, he told me,,,,,Thanks God,I am not one of them!
