Eventually the internet cafe business is going down, with the price war.. peso2x competitors.. and a lot other things...

If microsoft starts to raid illegal internet cafes - most of the internet cafe that can't afford the license program are going to close and sell their units (or convert them into peso2x units). Most of the common people (like us) will be able to buy cheap used units. Eventually most of us are going to have their own pc, and with affordable internet connection, people would rather play or use the net at home.

Only the BIG time internet cafes will survive, but I hope that they set a better price rate per hour (price war is a killer) ....

there's still market for icafe, internet penetration specially in cebu is not really that high. plus students from provinces are still a lot in cebu city.
legit icafes still be able to have gains as long as govt and piracy enforcement agencies are focused on their jobs.

Windows 7 Pro is said to be downgradeable to Windows XP Pro..now, wat if the end user got Windows 7 Pro license then downgrade to XP Pro and then as time passed by wants Windows 7 Pro again..cud it be possible w/out additional charges..??
