And, to their credit, the Vatican acknowledged this error, first by establishing Vatican II and then, with Pope John Paul's apology.
I also believe that the topic of Cathocism in relation to Nazism is moot and academic. Like I stated earlier, it's like Cebuanos today being held accountable for the death of Magellan.
There are far more current topics in relation to the Church that I would like addressed, such as those in relation to the *** abuse scandals, where priests, instead of facing justice, are mysteriously hidden from public scrutiny; also, I also believe that homosexuals should NOT be banned from being priests; I also believe that women have as much right to be preachers as men do.
