The biggest mistake writers do is send their manuscripts to publishers. Don't do it, they throw it in the thrash. Find yourself a LITERARY AGENT. Fortunately there's a bunch of info about how to find a literary agent on the internet.

If you want to get published in the Philippines you have to first make a name for yourself as a writer/author. I suggest you strive to join local writing workshops like the Faigao Writer Workshop of University of San Carlos or the Mugna Writing Workshop of UP-Cebu.
And there are some factors to consider. Are you writing poetry or narratives? Are you writing in English, Filipino or Bisaya. If you're a Bisayan writer I suggest you join BATHALAD who can help you get your Bisayan writings published.
