I'm impressed with Valero. A lot of people are downplaying his abilities, including his killer instinct and heart. I think on paper, the elite clearly beats him, but there's that x factor..just like manny.. Has any abody seen his title fight with the junior lightweight badas5 Vicente Mosquera? HOw about his latest fight with DeMarco?
I like his chances against ANY fighter out there. If hefights Marquez, I see him knocking out the old Pacquiao nemesis inside 10 rounds

The only time Valero is similar to Mayorga is when he gets sloppy and wide with his punches. But Mayorga is nowhere near Valero's potential in my opinion

maybe, maybe not. and we won't know for sure until they get into the ring.
my question is, have you seen Valero in his earlier days, when he was still a prospect? Have you seen his sparring with Morales? I would NEVER count him out against the mexican triumvirate.

in his latest fight, he showed a LOT of things that he can do. he's not just a careless brawler. he feints to the body, throws punches in combinations and definitely knows how to control the fight. he has good footwork, measures distance well and throws punches in different angles with POWER in both hands. Although he was hit with punches, he made the guy miss. The cut was a nasty one, and it didnt seem to affect him. That's a pretty good fighter right there and if only naa ni cyay sakto nga trainer that would discipline him to use his boxing skills which he already has, layu nig abtan bataa
