bisag-unsa na motherboard bro basta at least 780g ang chipset makita man na nimo kasagaran naay 78 nya check lang if am2+ or am3 ba na siya kay katong am3 katong 785 man cguro to.

so far, am3 imo proce, then ddr2 ram....ako ma suggest kay K9A2-CF nga mobo from MSI...am2+ and am3 ready xa...ddr2 slot

then f i were to choose, i prefer athlon 64 x2 or athlon II x2...compare sa phenom II x2.. same ra sila dual core... bsin nag 2o ka tanang phenom quad core na

ahem.. if the procie is Phenom II X2 550, then GA-M61PME-S2P can support it (Support for Socket AM3/ AM2+/ AM2 processors) but with limited bus speed. the GA-M61PME-S2P rev.1 can support 52 socket AM3 procies, so the notion that it cant support socket AM3 is a misleading information.

(Note) If you install AMD AM3/ AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherboard, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0 (5200MT/s) to HT1.0 (2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM3/ AM2+ CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" for more information.

why should we waste our time on downgrading? since there are many mobo's that doesnt need any downgrading to support the proce....
