Thread: New system unit

  1. #11

video card is not good for gaming. it's just a tad higher than IGP.
an HD4670 is way better currently at Php3,495 Gaisano Interpace.

yeah i agree... pero low budget mn au gud... mura lisod au i.pangita og nndot nga specs....

pero sa imo gi suggest, gamay rmn difference...its just because HD4670 is gddr3, while palit is ddr2... so im not going to go for HD4670... if im going to extend the budget...ill rather go for INNO3D Geforce 9800GT 1gb 256bit

  3. #13
architecturally, HD4670 is way superior than GeForce 9400 and not just the use of GDDR3 memory.
that is why you pay for it.

by the way, GDDR3 is not the same as DDR3, GDDR3 is for v-cards.
same goes with GDDR5 used in HD4xxx, HD5xxx and the upcoming GTX 480/470.
no DDR5 yet for RAM in PC.

yeah i know about that.... no need to tell..coz im not that STUPID about that stuff....
its just that your a fan boy of ATI... well honestly its because the budget is low thats why i choose this specs... if his budget only reach 20-25k then i can manage to have a mid-rate rig

and please read the first post before you will post replies here... think of it if your going to choose that VCARD, can you buy other stuff that the system unit needs to function....

an ATI fanboy? funny...commenting on the advantage of HD4670 does not make you a fanboy.
i'm all for green by the way.

"think of it if your going to choose that VCARD, can you buy other stuff that the system unit needs to function?" Yes you can.

well here's my specs based G.I. pricelist

    ECS G31TM-L - 1,995
    Pentium E5300 - 3,095
    HD4670 - 3,495
    160GB HDD - 1,750
    2GB DDR2-800 - 1,895

    that's a total of 12,230.
You still have 2,770 for PSU and casing.

    HD4670 - 3,495
    160GB HDD - 1,750
    2GB DDR2-800 - 1,895 <=generic RAM?

    <= pure generic PSU?

15k ok naman tingali na. i don't think nagpaka ati fan boy si loloyis. he is merely stating nga 9400gt vs 4670 layo ra kaayo ang diperensya. the fact that i know is weak ang 9400gt para gamiton gaming pc. what i would suggest is at least a 3.5k videocard, in which im sure the 11.5k remaining would do a decent job for the other parts.

    here's my suggestion:
    3.5k videocard (i suggest 9600gt gddr3)
    3.5k processor
    2k motherboard
    2.5k 2gig ram
    2.5k 250gig hardisk
    1k casing
    total of 15k

you can buy the green edition sa 9600gt coz it doesnt require direct power supply connector. but i suggest you to get a branded power supply later, something like hec raptor at 2.5k for protection.

this is a good spec already just add a decent PSU and a decent Case.....

yeah thats the prob.... its a casing with free PSU...im not talking that im against HD4670 but what im concern is the budget....
